We had a fun time yesterday at the monthly Quilts of Valor sew day learning to foundation paper piece in the tradition of Judy Niemeyer. These ladies were up to challenge and are making the blocks collectively for a lovely QOV quilt.
During this first session we learned to make the large stars for the quilt and now everyone will make the large and small stars in their kits. When we come back together we will learn how to make the flying geese blocks which will make up the border of the quilt.
