Sewcial Groups
Sewcial groups are a great way to connect in smaller intimate settings as well as participate in fun quilt block swaps!

Sew Days
Twice a month, usually on Saturdays, Guild members meet informally at the Latimer Street Fire Station for sewing and fellowship.
Times run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Feel free to stay all day or just drop by for a visit. Enjoy your coffee and snacks/sack lunch while we stitch and chat. Get on the list of attendees to participate in our potluck lunch!
It's a great way to share ideas, work on projects and enjoy being with your quilting friends.
Stitchers in the Dark
This group meets once a year; the meeting usually includes a potluck when the venue allows.
In 2023, we are meeting, exchanging blocks and potlucking on March 16, from 6:00 - 8:45 PM at Atonement Lutheran Church fellowship hall. Located at 2205 34th Street in Missoula.
HOW IT WORKS:
Everyone participating fills out a sheet of paper indicating their name, address, birth date, favorite colors, patterns, fabric designers, block size, style of block, etc. Then everyone draws a name other than their own.
During the year each person constructs 12 blocks to be given to the person whose name they drew. You are always welcome to send this person a card for their birthday if you like, but the fun of it is to keep your identity hidden so the person you are sewing for does not know who you are.
At the next annual meeting, everyone takes turns laying out their blocks, and gives hints and people have to guess if the blocks are theirs or not. Then the whole cycle starts over again.

Bee Sewcial Groups
Our Bee Sewical Groups are small groups of 4 to 6 guild members who meet at least once a month to sew and socialize or just to simply socialize. This is a great way to get to know guild members, have fun and learn from one another.
Our next session of Bee Sewcial will begin in October 2022 and run through January 2023.
“Two quilters who have just met will be strangers only until their mutual passion for quilting is revealed. Then they can talk for hours like the best of friends.”
