What a wonderful kick off meeting we had last night. Did it go a little long? Well yeah, but there was soooooo much great stuff!
Our new board had a fabulous line up of items that really just couldn't be put off. We just had to share them and each one spoke volumes to how active this guild is and just how profound an impact we have on our Missoula community. I know I speak for everyone when I say once again, thank you to Joni Stormo for leading the way as our president.
Thank you to everyone who made Patriotic challenge blocks this spring. The response was so positive we were able to give Quilts of Valor enough blocks to make at least 4 quilts. Last night's presentation to Brigadier General Dale Stovall was very special to be a part of and special thanks to our QOV group and Deb Tomell for making the quilt and presenting it with the respect and honor someone of the Brigadier's record deserves.
It's so nice to finally be on the other side of a pandemic and able to share in treats and fellowship together. Seeing everyone visiting and sharing in the bountiful snacks supplied by the board was certainly good for soul.

What a wonderful presentation by Meredith Hoistad and Carolyn Dewey about the tapestry. If you missed it, stay tuned for a blog post.
There were so many gorgeous quilts for Show & Tell it was overwhelming. Everyone has been quite busy these past few months. This is just a sampling, enjoy the slide show. Stay tuned for more on our Instagrm.
