There are any number of challenges out there for you to participate in. Here are a few our members love and are currently involved in.
Quarterly Challenge Due May 2023
Our Quarterly Challenge is also a Guild Community Project. Make a 12.5" block using patriotic fabrics. It can be any pattern because these blocks will be donated to our Quilts of Valor group and they are going to take them and create a patriotic sampler quilt which we will present to a local hero who served in Vietnam. The presentation will take place at our September meeting.
Celebrating the States Block of the Month
This is a four year BOM to celebrate the Semi-quincentennial of the USA that will happen in 2026! One block a month for four+ years to make this quilt a manageable project for a once in a lifetime celebration for The United States! 250 years might seem young to our friends from all over the world but we're going to celebrate! It's going to be a great scrappy block quilt!
